Discover your local history: An Introduction to the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Historic Environment Record

Access your local landscape in a new way with Francis Shepherd and Hannah Curnow from Cornwall Council’s Strategic Historic Environment Service. They will introduce the information and resources contained within the Historic Environment Record (HER), which is online and free to access from your own home . Using the HER’s bespoke mapping site they will explain how to get the most out of the online resources. They will focus on resources that help support the restoration or assessment of rural landscapes and hedges, but please feel free to bring your own queries.
