Spring Sensory Herbalism & Medicine Making Workshop with Ruth Weaver BSc (Hons) – Sunday 25th May

Sunday 25th May

1.30pm – 3.30pm

Location: Penzance

In this workshop we will learn about the art of blending herbs for making tea and deep dive into herbal science and energetics through a sensory plant study. Medicine making to create effective herbal formulas to target a given condition is an art form, much like the art of cookery. We will discuss this in view of traditional herbal therapeutics and make a herbal tea blend from a native Spring herb for you to bring home.

There is no need for prior experience, though both seasoned home herbalists and professionals will gain new skills. Bring a small 50 -100ml sterilised container (bottle or jar), notepad and pen.

These sessions will take place at Archie Browns, Bread St, Penzance starting at 1.30pm and finishing by 3.30pm.
