This is a very special opportunity to join a foundation course learning how to build a herringbone slate hedge, also known as ‘Jack and Jill’.
This course is in collaboration with Friends of the Fal and will play an important part in a plan to restore the Medieval Leat to Grampoud, which is an integral part of the area’s history.
Over the 5 days, you will get to grips with constructing a Cornish Hedge with local stone in the style of the region.
This course is suitable for beginners and those with some experience. Our 5 day foundation is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in our hands-on learning as well as the landscape, by the end of the week, you will have gained some significant skills and had the chance to thoroughly practice.
