Please park in the new location near and opposite Leswidden Farm.

You can use the address: Leswidden Farm, Penzance TR19 7RT to find the parking. There will be signs from the car park to get up to the Open Day.

If you need to avoid walking over stiles, please use the details below to use the ‘Exhibitor parking’ which is on the farm. Please bear in mind that this is up a bumpy farm track so please make sure that your vehicle is suitable.

Whether you’re just interested in what we’re up to, or are one of our trainees looking to meet other hedging and rural craft professionals, please join us for our open day!

We have talks lined up every half hour on the subjects of working in rural craft, telling the story of a craft’s heritage, hedge ecology, Cornwall’s heritage and landscape, transforming education, regenerative farming and more!

This is so that we can arrange parking.

Please bear in mind that there is no electricity or running water at the farm, so please bring everything you need with you. Feel free to bring a picnic with you and be prepared to take everything away with you again, as we have no waste disposal and we are in the middle of a nature reserve.

You can walk up the track to the training site at his location.

The post code TR20 8QY will bring you into the region of the track to Hillside Farm.

Directions: BY CAR: Coming from Sancreed (Eglossankres) (it’s the small turning  – on the left, signposted Trevarthen Farm Garden Cottage – after you’ve passed the bus stop and the sign to Tremethick Cross on your right. Its just after a walled garden with a blue door – a narrow track down through some trees. If you’re coming from the A3071, then its after the turnoff to Roselands Camping, after Leswidden Farm, after Carn Glaze Farm, and on your right just as the trees close in over the road – signposted Trevarthen Farm Garden Cottage. Carry on up the track.
